I sure hope you haven't notice, but we sure have. The ticks are bad!!! So a little bit of info I told clients at the vet for years. "It didn't get cold enough for long enough to kill the tick eggs". So what this means is that there are going to be more of them :(
My sister in law turned me on to a remedy that she used after getting ticks after walking her dog. She applied Lavender oil on her and the dog before she went out. Now it needs to be pure and I tested 2 brands. They both where essential oils. For the last 10 days I have applied put some on my finger and rubbed it down the barn cats back and feet. To the best of my knowledge they went from several ticks a day to zero. Anyway I was seeing ticks on them, I am not anymore. Oh and lavender keeps moths away :)
So get some essential oil. Below is a link to the one that I like, it's a bit more pure. I have some if you want to get some fast. I'm in the process of testing it with lotion. Wouldn't it be nice to have skin tightening lotion that keeps the ticks away?
